Companies such as Spoitfy, Pfizer, Moderna, and AirBnB have all been named to the list this year, and Ford Motor Company has also been identified as one of the most noteworthy companies from the year 2021.

Ford Operates Autonomous 3D Printers at Advanced Manufacturing Center

 

 

Ford recently announced that its Advanced Manufacturing Center created an interface which allows machines from separate suppliers to effectively communicate with each other and operate parts of the company’s production line autonomously.

 

It's true that automotive companies have been utilizing robotics for years in order to reduce production expenses and improve efficiency. However, Ford’s new system introduces the potential for incredibly enhanced productivity via using robots to operate 3D printers through the night without requiring human interaction.

Ford Uses Autonomous Vehicles to Deliver Fresh Food to Senior Citizens in Southwest Detroit

Ford Motor Company and Ford Motor Company Fund, the company’s philanthropic division, are launching a fresh food delivery pilot in Southwest Detroit this holiday season. This program will be yet another stage in Ford’s recent testing of autonomous vehicles. This six-month project is projected to deliver up to 10,000 pounds of fresh food directly to senior citizens in the Southwest Detroit area whose mobility challenges limit their access to food.

Ford Makes Investment in Thailand

Ford’s manufacturing facilities in Thailand are about to receive a modernization update. The company has made a US$900 million (THB 28 billion) investment in supplying the facility with new technology and systems. This is the largest investment Ford has made in Thailand to date, and brings the total investments that the company has made in Thailand over the last 25 years to US$3.4 billion (THB 100 billion).
