The 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC is the most powerful street-legal Mustang Ford has ever built. It uses a race-derived 5.2L supercharged cross-plane crank V8, shared with the Mustang GTD, that makes 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. Power goes through a 7-speed TREMEC dual-clutch transmission, a carbon-fiber driveshaft and a 3.73 Torsen limited-slip differential, and the active valve performance exhaust gives it the sound to match. The chassis is built for the track, with MagneRide damping, independent rear suspension, adjustable top mounts, a magnesium tower-to-tower brace, and Brembo brakes with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. Track features include launch control, Track Apps, an electronic line-lock, an electric drift brake, a carbon-fiber hood vent and a rear diffuser, and it rides on 20-inch wheels with staggered extended-performance tires. Inside you get leather-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with magnesium paddle shifters, ambient lighting, a 12.4" digital instrument cluster, a 13.2" SYNC 4 touchscreen and a 12-speaker B&O sound system. Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assist is standard, including pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, lane keeping and blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert.
