Power, capability, and pure off-roading power. That’s what the words Ranger Raptor bring to mind, and that’s exactly what Ford will be delivering to truck enthusiasts everywhere when the 204 Ranger Raptor finally makes its debut. A long-awaited member of the Raptor family, this truck will be tackling some of the toughest terrain in the world in the coming model year.

“Ranger Raptor is the high-performance off-road truck so many customers have been begging for,”said Carl Widmann, Ford Performance chief engineer. “It’s right-sized for tight trails and daily life, can carry lots of gear, and is a blast to drive. Ranger Raptor is fast, comfortable, and packed with top-shelf, purposeful technology that’s designed to perform. This is the baddest Ranger we’ve ever made.”

The Ranger Raptor is trail ready from the bottom up, especially when it comes to the truck’s purpose-built suspension. With lightweight aluminum upper and lower control arms, and a long-travel rear suspension with a Watts linkage and trailing arms, it’s designed to provide drivers with intense control and confidence over all types of terrain. Next-generation FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass shocks with coil-overs at the front and piggyback reservoirs at the rear help reduce heat build-up and provide excellent performance, even over long stretches of driving. The Ranger’s frame is fully boxed, with reinforcements in key areas like the front frame rails, front shock towers, rear shock brackets, and suspension mounting points to make it fit for the most difficult terrain you can find.

A Ford Performance tuned twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine provides the power for this rugged vehicle, delivering 430 lb.-ft. of torque and a best-in-class maximum available horsepower of  405 hp. With increased performance over gravel, dirt, mud and sand, the 2024 Ranger Raptor is the most powerful Ranger ever made.

The show-stopping qualities of this truck aren’t limited to the durable exterior, either. The Ranger Raptor offers selectable drive modes that adjust everything from the tuning of the engine to traction control and throttle response, giving you ultimate off-road control. A 360-Degree Camera helps to give you better visibility while off-roading, and Zone Lighting lets you illuminate remote areas at night to make camping trips and other late night adventures easier and safer.

Ready to experience this unbeatable off-roading machine for yourself? It will become available late in the summer of this year! Until then, you can check out other Ford vehicles, including some other members of the Raptor family, in our online inventory here.
