Seating takes the front seat - New Seating Design on the 2020 Ford Explorer

Yet to be released, the 2020 Ford Explorer puts new focus on seating comfort thanks with the help of Mike Kolich. Nick-named "Dr. Derriere". Mike Kolich was a part of the design that created seats for the all-new 2020 Ford Explorer. The latest iteration of seating coming to the Ford Explorer features dashingly sleek styling and carefully selected materials.

Informed by a host of new statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Ford design team approached the new seat with two ideas in mind: shape and softness. The latest seat design is inspired by similar seat architecture across all new Ford models. Drivers that are used to the Ford Mustang or Edge might notice a similar shape and feel to the seats. The V-shaped design underlies all Ford seating designs. Drivers can look forward to a host of available upgrades and features on the Ford Explorer!
